Kolektiv MANA is a youth organization with a mission of improving inclusive practices in youth work in Serbia and beyond.

(We are unable to support the entire website in English. Key information is on this page, and for anything else feel free to use a translation tool or contact us.)

We are proudly self-led and all members are parts of the community our work is directed towards. We are young people and youth workers from intersectionally marginalized communities, working to bring inclusion and accessibility to youth work and make it available to ALL young people. Our work is divided into three programs:

Youth Program

Within our Youth Program, we focus on working directly with marginalized young people from Novi Sad and beyond. The two main groups of young people who attend our local activities are queer and disabled young people - most often those in the intersection of these two identities. We organize 2-3 activities in Novi Sad every week, and several large-scale activities like youth camps or festivals throughout the year.

Youth Worker Program

Our Youth Worker Program focuses on helping youth workers become more inclusive and educated on accessibility and marginalized identitites. Through educations, publications and mentorship, we’re creating an environment where no young person is excluded from youth work simply because their youth workers didn’t know how to work with someone who is Deaf, transgender, in a housing crisis, autistic, or with any other identity that excludes them from mainstream society.

CSO Program

A lot of our work revolves around collaboration with other CSOs, and as such, we’re in a prime position to notice how our partners and collaborators can tweak their work and approach to be more accessible to marginalized youth. We do this through our CSO program, where we observe the work of other organizations and give recommendations for increasing accessibility and inclusion on an organizational level.
